- Thorndale Neighborhood Center Open - EESP is sharing space at 1130 W. Thorndale (West of the EL stop). Artists in Motion, Thorndale Action Task Force, CAPS, Human Rights Campaign and State Rep Harry Osterman are working out of this community outreach center. Activities, events, charettes and classes are being scheduled for both day and evening interest to all. Photography lessons, theatrical shows, open mic nights - check in and see what is going on. Outside venues such as Wednesday Furry Friends and Monday Neighborhood Nights are coordinating with the Center. Watch for notices and emails on fun and interesting things to do on Thorndale.
- Farmer's Markets June thru October (check sponsor's site for details) - EESP Supports Farmers Markets at Uncommon Ground (Fridays 1400 Devon); True Nature Foods (Saturdays, Broadway/Norwood); Andersonville (Wednesdays/Clark Street). We will have information tables at a number of those events. Walk and shop locally...support family farms and eat healthy.
